LAST REHEARSAL

We began our rehearsal with the tag from The Star Spangled Banner, then we sang through the whole song once.  Meg then led both physical and vocal warm-ups with Karina jumping in a couple of times to try a couple of exercises. We sang through half of our holiday repertoire and then had 20 minute sectionals with Nine to Five.  Duetting measure 55-70 and a run-through of the whole song followed. We had a short break and a brief business meeting (we did NOT get a Worcester Pride time slot), and Karina shared her positive experience from the past weekend’s ED-You-(va)Cation & Four Part Frenzy, in Keene, NH.   The remainder of our holiday repertoire was sung with a suggestion from Ray to acknowledge which songs each of us might need to look at again.  He mentioned, also, that this rep is the one where anyone who would like to direct can choose a song!
