Post Road Chorus, a Region 1 chapter of Sweet Adelines International, was chartered in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts in 1986, to fulfill our mission to perfect and share the art form of four-part a cappella singing. The chorus now performs under the leadership of our director, Ray Johnson.

Post Road Chorus is a group of friendly, enthusiastic women of all ages from varied backgrounds who share their love of four-part a cappella music sung in the barbershop style. Our music includes a large repertoire of standards, show tunes, ballads and contemporary pieces.

Visit our Frequently Asked Questions and Our Journey pages to learn more about the Post Road Chorus – and to come join us at any Tuesday night rehearsal, either as a listener or a potential member. Visitors are always welcome (please visit our Contact Us page to plan your visit)!

We are a small community chorus. From music selection, to coordinating performance opportunities, to the all-important refreshments planning, we love that everyone brings all of their talents to keep us singing!
