DESCRIPTION:Join us for an evening of vocal skill-building and singing (plus maybe a little fun) when we meet for our weekly rehearsal. \n \nKeep doing a great job using MeetUp! \nIf you would like to Zoom into a rehearsal that you cannot make in person\, please let Karina know as far in advance as you can.  She will not set up the Zoom stream unless she knows that someone is interested.  Thanks! \nMeg’s ZOOM instruction on How to Find New Music is on Thursday\, August 7 at 6pm \n  \nNEXT REHEARSAL  \nTag Time \nWarm-ups \nRep Review: The Star Spangled Banner\, Don’t Stop\, Sound Celebration\, At Last\, I See the Light \nSectionals: Nine to Five\, duets with measures 70-86 and 19-34 to follow \n  \nMusic Team Meeting \n  \nLAST REHEARSAL \nWe began our rehearsal with the tag from The Star Spangled Banner\, then we sang through the whole song once.  Meg then led both physical and vocal warm-ups with Karina jumping in a couple of times to try a couple of exercises. We sang through half of our holiday repertoire and then had 20 minute sectionals with Nine to Five.  Duetting measure 55-70 and a run-through of the whole song followed. We had a short break and a brief business meeting (we did NOT get a Worcester Pride time slot)\, and Karina shared her positive experience from the past weekend’s ED-You-(va)Cation & Four Part Frenzy\, in Keene\, NH.   The remainder of our holiday repertoire was sung with a suggestion from Ray to acknowledge which songs each of us might need to look at again.  He mentioned\, also\, that this rep is the one where anyone who would like to direct can choose a song! \n__________________________________ \nSING-OUT CALENDAR: \nSat.\, Aug. 16: Sing the National Anthem for Eagles fundraiser\, Leominster\, 10 am arrival \nSat.\, Sept. 6: Sing at Charlie Brown Campground\, TBD \nSun.\, Sept. 14: Overlook Senior Living Community performance\, Charlton\, 3 pm \nWed.\, Dec. 10: Possible performance at Hillside Village Condominiums\, West Boylston \n__________________________________ \nIMPORTANT DATES: \nWed.\, Aug. 20: B.O.D.
